PBX on Mobile

Enabling a mobile user to experience PBX-like features on a mobile without the upfront investment that is needed to build fixed PBX systems.

Convergence is dissolving network boundaries and enabling the development of new service concepts, such as the ability to use a phone on a mobile GSM network with all the features and functionality of a fixed handset connected to the corporate PBX.

This development allows powerful communications applications to be employed over both conventional Time Division Multiplex (TDM) and Internet Protocol (IP) networks as well as on GSM mobile phone devices.

To avoid the need to remember key strokes to access functionality, a menu system can be used on smart mobile handsets to provide access to capabilities such as hold, transfer, conferencing and call recording.
